Sydney’s Josh Kennedy is the biggest mover in betting on the 2014 Brownlow Medal winner following Round 9 of the AFL.

Kennedy has moved from $14 into $8 outright second favouritism at Sportingbet.com.au behind Gary Ablett ($2.25) after another impressive performance in the Swans’ 50 point win over Essendon.

Sportingbet’s AFL analysts awarded Kennedy the maximum three votes, which puts him on 13 votes for the season and an estimated 4 to 5 votes behind Ablett.

“Kennedy has been in superb form and we have him collecting up to 11 votes from his past 5 matches,” Sportingbet’s Andrew Brown said.

Ablett, Patrick Dangerfield and Brent Harvey were also awarded 3 votes by Sportingbet’s analysts for their Round 9 performances.

Sportingbet’s analysts award half votes when they can’t split certain performances, a system that has proven to balance out over the course of the season and provide a more accurate prediction of a player’s final vote numbers.
