Sportingbet's analysts believe Gary Ablett and Joel Selwood are leading 2014 Brownlow voting after three matches - Ablett picking up three votes in Gold Coast's big weekend win over Brisbane.
While the Brownlow Medal voting is done by field umpires on a 3-2-1 basis, Sportingbet have developed a structure to predict the overall winner using a rolling leaderboard and analysts providing their own votes weekly.
Sportingbet analysts award half votes when they can't split certain performances.
It's a system that has proven to balance out over the course of the season and provide a more accurate prediction of a player's final vote numbers.
GWS midfielder Adam Treloar also earned the maximum three votes from Sportingbet's analysts for his performance in the win over Melbourne, and has rocketed up the standings to be just behind the leaders.
