Hille off to France

Essendon ruckman David Hille will be unavailable for the next two weeks due to a family wedding in France.

The international engagement was flagged by Hille with the club at the start of the year and he is heading overseas with Essendon's blessing, according to football manager Danny Corcoran.

"David has been a valuable contributor to the team this season in the absence of Paddy Ryder who has been missing through suspension and we now look forward to him being available for selection again in two weeks' time," Corcoran said

The timing of Hille's departure couldn't have been better with star big man Ryder set to return from his three-match suspension this week to face Geelong in what looms as the match of the season to date.
