Guerra doubt for Swans clash

Hawthorn defender Brent Guerra could miss this week's Grand Final rematch against Sydney at the MCG on Saturday with knee soreness.

Guerra jarred his left knee in the final 13 minutes of the Hawks' 11-point win over Adelaide at AAMI Stadium, and despite being carried from the field, he returned late to help his side over the line.

It would be a sense of deja vu about Guerra missing the Swans date - after he was cruelly denied a spot in last year's finals series that culminated in their loss to Sydney, due to a hamstring injury.

Hawthorn fitness coach Andrew Russell said Guerra had felt 'a little bit of soreness' around the joint, and will face a test before being named in Alastair Clarkson's 22.

If he is left out, it would be yet another body blow to the Hawks' backline, having already lost Matt Suckling (knee - season) and Ryan Schoenmakers (knee - season) earlier this season.
