A giant gnome statue on the Peninsula Link freeway in Frankston was wearing a Hawthorn jersey by commuters on Friday morning
Photos of the Hawks-supporting gnome appeared on social media before contractors removed the jersey.
The nine metre high sculpture has been targeted by pranksters before including a large silver penis made of foil being attached it in September.
