Fyfe is just about the unbackable favourite for the Brownlow Medal in 2015, but may find himself in hot water following a hit on Hawk’s utility Taylor Duryea.
Built as a Grand Final preview, the game between two genuine premiership contenders has been overshadowed by the Fyfe incident.

It isn’t the first time that Fyfe has found himself on the wrong end of the umpires this season, after being reported for tripping against the Bulldogs earlier in the year.

Fyfe’s poor record may count against him, and if he is indeed suspended, will be ineligible to win the game’s highest individual honour.
