Daniel Giansiracusa says 2014 Western Bulldogs have more bite

Crameri signed with the Bulldogs at the end of last season, moving to the Whitten Oval from Essendon with a record of 96 goals in 57 matches for the Bombers.

In 2013, the Bulldogs won eight games to finish 15th and only kicked over 100 points six times from 23 rounds.

Giansiracusa reckons the addition of Crameri and the continued improvement of Liam Jones and Tom Williams should make the Bulldogs' forward line tough to match up on this year.

"I think Stewy Crameri is going to really compliment him (Liam Jones) and the other forwards," Giansiracusa said on Wednesday.

"Stewy has got a huge tank and those younger guys are still developing theirs, so I think that will really help us.

"As long as we can gel as a forward line I think we will kick winning scores."

Giansiracusa had arguably one of his best seasons in 2013, getting the most out of his 31-year-old legs with 36 goals from 20 games for the Bulldogs and averaging 14.6 disposals per match, despite regularly starting as the substitute.

With Brendan McCartney having assembled a large group of young players at Whitten Oval, Giansiracusa will again provide crucial leadership in 2014.

"I've been given an opportunity to play the game again and there's tough times in footy but it's the best job in the world to get to run out here with my teammates," the veteran said.

"I am just really looking forward to being a part of it again."
