Rory Sloane and Jared Petrenko have secured their futures with the Adelaide Crows after penning new deals on Wednesday.

The length of the contract extensions weren't disclosed but Crows football operations general manager Phil Harper told the Crows' official website the club's future was decisive in the duo signing on.

"Rory and Jared were keen to recommit as they see a bright future with their mates here at West Lakes," he said.

Sloane has racked up nine games for Adelaide this season after debuting late last year. The midfielder injured his ankle against the Dockers in the opening game before returning in Round 10.

The 20-year-old has impressed since his comeback and has been instrumental in Adelaide's mid-season revival, showing maturity and playing intelligence beyond his limited experience.

Fellow 20-year-old Petrenko has played 21 games for Adelaide, nine this season, and is another promising player certain to be at the heart of the Crows' future.

The lively goal sneak is expected to see out the rest of the season on the sidelines though after breaking his foot.

Adelaide will look to assure the services of several other key players including Patrick Dangerfield, Scott Thompson, Nathan Bock and Chris Knights.

The club is hoping the stars will put pen to paper in the near future.

"We remain in discussion with several other players and their managers and will advise when any of these negotiations are finalised," Harper said on Adelaide's official website.
