The-19-year-old victim made a complaint to police after the alleged incident, which occurred on Australia Day, was posted on social media.
Three 19-year-olds and one 21-year-old man have been charged with rape, while two of the men have also been charged with distributing prohibited recordings.
One of the men's lawyers described the incident as a "youthful prank".
A banning order has been put in place preventing the two footballers from contacting each other.
But a lawyer argued the non-contact order was impractical due to their sporting committments.
A decision on the non-contact order is yet to be made while the other three men are due to face court on October 26.
