The opinions on James Hird and Essendon haven't ceased despite the club being cleared of any wrongdoing surrounding alleged doping.
A thread asking 'why do people really hate Hird' brought some hilarious replies including one person "claiming" they are psychic...

Basically , I hate anyone who is loved because I've never felt that feeling before.
We are all for outrageous statements but this one takes the cake.
The atmosphere at AFL games isn't always amazing but we think this lass' opinion is slightly warped.

Ahhh what? Rocks? An AFL game at the SCG has the atmosphere of a wet sock. Maybe you should try a Taylor Swift concert or most matches in Melbourne....

As a young tacker, I remember trying to join in on the abuse and obscenities i heard...often not understanding what I was saying.
This effort by a young Tiger cub is absolute pure gold.

A few years back, I was seated in front of a father and his child. The kid would have been five or six years old.
He was trying to get on board with the general heckling that you hear at the footy, but didn't quite understand the subtleties.
At one point, he spoke out in a small voice: 'Brisbane Lions, you all deserve to die'.
A fellow poster underlined his concerns about the young Tiger.

They are in a dire state at Carlton currently. After years of rebuilding since the salary cap fiasco, it appears Carlton's list is shagged and it's long way to reclaim their former glory.
