The number eight pick in the 2008 national draft, Vickery produced a terrific 2011 season, displaying his true capabilities as a forward and ruckman. He played second fiddle to Riewoldt in attack, pinch-hitting in the ruck and booted a valuable 36.19 from his 22 appearances (second-best to Riewoldt). With added bulk, Vickery will fast become a power forward alongside Riewoldt to establish a formidable duo.
