Lindsay Thomas comes off a disappointing 2011 in front of goal. His return of 21.36 was clearly an underachievement from such a highly-talented and skilled small forward. He spent time correcting technical deficiencies with his kicking in the VFL before coming back for the final four games of the season. What Thomas lacks in front of goal he makes up for with his pressure inside 50 and he is a key member of North Melbourne's forward line, if he can straighten up in front of goal.
