A fully fledged AFL veteran, Brogan's early career was spent carving out a name for himself in the ruck at Port Adelaide after being selected as a rookie from South Adelaide in the SANFL, with his promotion to the senior list occurring in 2001. Part of the Port Adelaide premiership side in 2004, he also holds the record of being the first sportsman to win an AFL and NBL premiership, with Brogan a member of the 1998 Adelaide 36ers squad. Ended his 174-game with the Power in 2011 but reversed his decision to link up with GWS, Brogan will provide the Giants with invaluable experience and leadership.
