Pearce finished fifth in the club’s B&F after a solid 2011 season, playing most of his footy in the midfield, but also moving down back to help out his teammates later in the year. With his spearing left-foot kick and beautiful run and carry, Pearce led his side in kicks with 260 and loose ball gets with 55. The dynamic competitor missed just the three matches, averaged over 21 possessions, and had a brilliant 30-disposal, one-goal outing in round 13 against the Eagles. Likely to play a major role as a rebounding defender in Port’s bid to move up the ladder.
