Young Crow assaulted

Crows teenager Luke Brown has filed a police report after he was assaulted at an Adelaide nightspot on the weekend.

The Crows released a statement on Monday night confirming Brown was involved in an incident at an inner-city venue on Saturday night.

The 19-year-old, who was recruited to the club at the end of last year from Norwood, suffered some damage to his teeth from the incident.

"Luke was out on Saturday night with some friends when a fight started near his group and unfortunately, although he was a bystander, he was hit in the face," Crows football operations general manager Phil Harper said in the statement.

"Luke left the venue immediately and reported the incident to police outside the venue before he went to hospital to repair his teeth."

"He will need some further dental work but should not be ruled out from playing for any extended period."

The Crows have been investigating the incident over the last two days and said since the matter is now under police investigation, they will not be making any further comments.
