Tigers v Kangaroos - snippets

CLASSIC GRAB: Jay Schulz pulled down two hangers from the clouds. The first was over David Hale in the opening term in which he dazed himself. The second came when he climbed over Josh Gibson and Matthew Richardson to mark three-deep inside Richmond's forward 50.

STAR MAN: The only positive from Corey Jones being concussed last week was he could not remember the horror show North put on against Essendon. But he'll want to remember his effort on Sunday after bagging seven goals, including four in the first term.

WHAT A GOAL!: Jones did it in the air and on the ground. This goal came after he collected a handball from Aaron Edwards, who crumbed smartly off a pack, deep in the forward pocket and dribbled one through on his preferred left foot.

ABSOLUTE SHOCKER: Jake King was one of Richmond's better players last week but had a day to forget against the Kangas. He was out-muscled by Jones then no match for Shannon Grant. But to his credit, he stuck manfully to Brent Harvey when moved into the midfield.

UNSUNG HERO: Brady Rawlings shut down Richmond's midfield playmaker Nathan Foley, who managed just 15 touches. Foley is one of few Richmond midfielders who can cut a team apart with his kicking.
