Swans v Power - snippets

Turning Point: Jarrad McVeigh's opportunistic goal midway through the third term sparked a seven-goal blitz from the home side which sealed Port Adelaide's fate at the final break.

Classic Grab: Barry Hall turned back the clock with a spectacular aerial effort early in the contest. The big man launched into the stratosphere and used his trademark strength to hold on footy in heavy traffic and bring the Swans faithful to their feet.

Star Man: Leo Barry was the pick of an impressive bunch with 19 possessions but it was his job on Brett Ebert - who managed just eight possessions on the day - which saw him edge out a number of worthy team-mates as the Swans' best.

Absolute Shocker: Lewis Roberts-Thompson received the ball in the forward pocket and set his sights for the goal square. But his attempted snap at goal from point-blank range was one to forget as the makeshift ruckman missed everything.

Unsung Hero: Shaun Burgoyne was the one shining light for the Power booting four goals in a side that was comprehensively beaten on day.
