St Kilda have added former players Aaron Hamill and Max Hudghton to their coaching department.

Hamill, who played 190 games for Carlton and St Kilda, joins as an offensive coach, while Hudghton - a 234-game veteran of the Saints - will be the new defensive coach.

Along with Hamill and Hudghton, the Saints also signed Josh Low as their Strength & Conditioning Manager.

New coach Scott Watters was delighted with the signings.

"The appointment of Aaron and Max to these newly created roles will enable our List to receive high performance coaching to further develop specific aspects of their game," Watters said.

“All three bring a high standard of technical knowledge in their area, but as men display exemplary character and values which reflects the culture we are creating at St Kilda."

A new midfield coach is expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
