Brendan Fevola's terrible week has taken a slight turn for the better with Victoria Police announcing they won't be pressing any charges against the embattled Brisbane forward for his actions at last year's Brownlow Medal.
In the wake of the latest allegations against Fevola, who has been accused of indecent exposure at a function in Brisbane last weekend, it was rumoured that police were going to lay charges over his drunken antics at Crown Casino during and after the Brownlow Medal last year.
His behaviour at that event led to him being traded by Carlton to Brisbane, but trouble has continued to follow the two-time Coleman Medallist in his time at the Lions.
The AFL investigated Fevola over several incidents at last year's Brownlow function, including allegation of sexual impropriety towards a member of the media.
But Victoria Police said that their investigation into Fevola's behaviour has been completed and they will not be laying any charges.
The 29-year-old's career hangs in the balance after his latest controversy, with Brisbane suspending him indefinitely after allegations of indecent behaviour at a barbecue on Saturday afternoon were brought to the club's attention.
