New deal for Worsfold

John Worsfold will become West Coast's longest-serving coach after agreeing to terms on a two-year contract extension.
The Eagles' senior coach since 2002, Worsfold is set to surpass Mick Malthouse who coached the club for 243 games from 1990-99 both in length of tenure and games at the helm.
"It's great to have the deal done," said Worsfold.
"It was always just a case of finding the time to discuss some of the detail and during the season our entire focus was around ensuring our team capitalised on the opportunity we had created by finishing in the top four."
Worsfold won the AFL Coaches Association Coach of the Year Award for leading West Coast from 16th place last year into a preliminary final in 2011.
Club chairman Alan Cransberg said the Eagles are looking forward to moving closer to another premiership under Worsfold.
"John, his coaching staff and the players did a wonderful job in 2011 and there is a terrific foundation to build upon," Cransberg said.
"We are all excited about the club's future and I am delighted to have someone of John's capability, determination and character to lead our club forward."
The Eagles are yet to appoint a development coach for next season but, otherwise, their coaching staff is settled.
Phillip Walsh and Scott Burns, who recently signed contract extensions, will work alongside David Teague and new forwards coach Justin Longmuir.
