Brisbane Lions have convinced another youngster to stay at the club with midfielder Jack Redden agreeing to a three-year contract.
The 21-year-old joins Tom Rockliff, Matthew Leuenberger and Daniel Rich as young guns to enter new deals with the Lions.
Redden has not missed a senior match since making his debut in 2009 and enjoyed a breakout season in 2011.
He finished inside the top three at the club in total disposals and laid the second most tackles in the competition.
Originally from Keith near the Victoria/South Australia border, Redden was third in the Lions' club champion award and received the Shaun Hart Most Courageous Player award.
The Lions, who finished 13th last year, face Melbourne at the MCG in Round 1.
