King's ban reduced

Richmond defender Jake King will miss just one match after successfully having his striking charge downgraded at the AFL tribunal on Tuesday night.
King's original level three striking charge drew 270 points, but that was reduced to 141.8 after the tribunal deemed that his strike on Collingwood's Travis Cloke was reckless, not intentional.
King risked a three-match ban by rolling the dice at the tribunal and although he will miss the season opener against Carlton next week, he and the Tigers will be pleased with the outcome.
Meanwhile, Carlton's Aaron Joseph and Western Bulldogs' Nathan Eagleton have both accepted reprimands for incidents over the weekend.
Joseph will have 93.75 points hanging over his head after he was charged with striking Adelaide's Jared Petrenko, while Eagleton was given 72 points for attempting to trip St Kilda's Farren Ray in the NAB Cup Grand Final.
