Adelaide coach Neil Craig has admitted Melbourne's pace worries him ahead of the Crows' clash with the Demons at AAMI Stadium on Sunday.
Craig applauded the Demons' ball movement and said their midfield is loaded with talent, but is hoping all of this will work in his sides' favour.
The Adelaide boss hinted he will look to expose the Demons' speed with persistence and try to produce quality, rebounding football.
He noted Melbourne's ability to attack through the middle of the ground and fired a warning at his players, saying if they're not switched on they are liable to be overrun.
"I like their speed," he said.
"Their ball movement is very good. We'll need to be on our game and be persistent and try and create some turnovers from it."
"We need to be sharp, mentally sharp because if we're not they'll cut through you. They like to come back through the corridor. They can be a good side coming through the corridor."
Craig highlighted the Demons' midfield as well saying it is loaded with talent after a long building phase.
Aaron Davey was also touted as a match winner and a game breaker with Craig calling him the 'architect' of Melbourne's attack.
Craig remained coy about his plan of attack to combat the Demons' speedster but agreed his influence on the game needs to be limited.
"We can try and put someone on him," he said.
"But they've got some good talent in the midfield now and they've been building towards that for a long time now, three or four years."
"But he's been a very good player for them. He's been a bit of an architect, he's such a good kick, an elite kick in the competition and that's what hurts you so we need to keep an eye on him."
